The Macatawa USPS Post Office has officially closed at 2150 S. Shore Drive near Holland.
According to a previous statement, the building’s landlord declined to renew the government’s lease for the space and the office doesn’t plan to relocate.
A presentation before the Park Township Planning Commission from property owner Macatawa Partners LLC in March showed plans to convert the post office and attached structure into three motel units. The company’s resident agent is Wade Eldean, of the adjacent Eldean Shipyard.
