Caleb Williams won't be distracted by Chicago Bears' stadium saga

After a year of success for the Chicago Bears, the biggest talking point this offseason is whether the Bears will stay in Chicago. More and more, it looks like relocation is the most likely outcome for the Monsters of the Midway. However, the Bears’ franchise quarterback, Caleb Williams, is not getting sucked into that as a distraction.

In a recent article, Mike Pendleton breaks down Caleb Williams’ thoughts on potentially playing in a new stadium and city. Here is what Caleb Williams had to say:

“I’m going to play wherever there’s 120 by 53 and ⅓ and it’s marked up with white lines and two end zones,” Williams said. “I’m OK with whatever. Whatever decision they make is whatever decision they make. I just want some green and my teammates and coaches and another team out there and fans.”

The Bears and their stadium saga have been going on for years, it feels like. That dilemma, however, will not get in the way of what is most important for Caleb Williams and his process of leading the Bears to even more success. It should be reassuring to the organization and, most importantly, the fans, that the Bears franchise quarterback will light it up and deliver wherever he plays.
