A Hesperia man died after his car slammed into the back of a truck along the 15 Freeway Saturday morning, authorities said.

He was driving a sedan that struck the back of a flatbed tow truck, CHP logs show.

Witnesses reported the car had been “speeding” and “weaving all over the road” prior to the impact.

Farace died from his injuries at the scene and coroner officials were summoned to respond.

No further details were available Saturday afternoon.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information, can reach the CHP’s Victorville Area Office at (760) 241-1186.
