The 36th annual Bay Jammin’ Concert & Cinema Series, summer evenings of music and films, returns to the Cole Park Amphitheater starting June 4.
Since 1989, the concert series has offered a variety of musical acts during the summer, including local and Texas bands specializing in rock, blues, salsa and more. The cinema aspect started in 2003 with the addition of family-friendly films including animation, comedy, adventure, fantasy and more.
The free event is funded by local business sponsorships and private donations. Concerts will be held Thursdays from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. through Aug. 20, and movies every Friday after sunset through Aug. 14.
People are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
