Florida State has seven commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle. The third-highest ranked commit is four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro, who pledged to the program back in January.
Cavallaro made his way to Tallahassee in March for an unofficial visit. Now, he’s set to return to campus again. He announced on social media that he will be back for an official visit next weekend.
“Can’t wait to get back to Florida State for my official visit May 29-31. Ready to be around the coaches, players, and fans again. Tallahassee feels like home already #NoleFamily,” Cavallaro said.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder is the No. 348 player nationally and the No. 29 edge per 247Sports composite rankings. He’s also the No. 33 prospect in the state of Florida.
FSU got a boost to its 2027 class by landing three-star quarterback Logan Flaherty earlier this week. However, the Seminoles are on an uphill climb in the recruiting rankings, and they need to keep all the guys they currently have, especially a blue-chip talent like Cavallaro.
