ORLANDO — Manchester City brushed aside Juventus in a showdown of European elites at the FIFA Club World Cup.
Jérémy Doku, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Savinho scored for the eight-time Premier League champions in a 5-2 victory in front of 54,320 fans at Camping World Stadium. Manchester City took all nine points in Group G play and will return to Orlando for a Round of 16 match at 9 p.m. June 30.

Teun Koopmeiners and Dušan Vlahović provided the goals for Juventus, which advances to the knockout stages as Group G runners-up. The Italian side pumped nine goals past Wydad and Al-Ain earlier in the tournament.
Both of their opponents will be decided later Thursday. Real Madrid enters the final day atop Group H, leading Red Bull Salzburg on goal difference. Those two sides will square off in Philadelphia, and Al-Hilal will need help as it faces Pachuca in Nashville.
Juventus lost defender Nicolò Savona to an apparent left ankle injury early in the second half. The 22-year-old Italian started in a back three alongside Pierre Kalulu, who conceded an ugly own goal, and Lloyd Kelly.

Kenan Yıldız spotted Dušan Vlahović’s central run, and the Serbian striker stayed just onside to pull Juventus back within 5-2.
Vlahović timed his run just before Manuel Akanji could step up, and he fired low and to the right of Man City goalkeeper Ederson.

Manchester City have gone back in front on a calamatious error by Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu.
Matheus Nunes slipped past his man on the right flank and delivered a low cross that Kalulu steered into his own net. Manchester City regain the lead, ahead 2-1, and move back into the top spot of Group G in the live standings.

Ederson gifted Juventus a quick equalizer with an errant pass out of the back.
