Florida State officially learned its ACC opponents for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season on Wednesday as the conference released each program’s league opponents ahead of the upcoming year. The announcement gives head coach Luke Loucks a clearer picture of the schedule he will navigate entering his second season leading the Seminoles.
Florida State will once again play 20 ACC games during the regular season, facing several opponents both home and away while also rotating through single-play matchups across the conference. The Seminoles are scheduled to play home-and-home series against the Miami Hurricanes, Clemson Tigers, and SMU Mustangs during the upcoming season.
At home inside the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, Florida State will host California, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, NC State, Stanford, and Virginia Tech in addition to its repeat opponents. The road portion of the schedule includes trips to Boston College, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia, and Wake Forest alongside the Seminoles’ home-and-home series.
Loucks and his staff spent the offseason reshaping the roster as the Seminoles continue working toward a return to NCAA Tournament contention. Another encouraging sign for the direction of the program is the momentum Florida State continues building on the recruiting trail. The Seminoles currently hold the No. 11-ranked 2026 recruiting class in the country according to the 247Sports composite team rankings, giving the program one of the highest-rated classes in the ACC entering the upcoming season.
Several marquee matchups immediately stand out on Florida State’s conference slate, including home games against Duke and Louisville, along with rivalry meetings against Miami. Road trips to North Carolina and Virginia also present major challenges for a roster continuing to develop under Loucks.
The ACC is expected to announce dates, game times, and television designations later this offseason. For now, Florida State has officially taken another step toward the beginning of the 2026-27 season as the program prepares for another year under Loucks’ leadership.
