A head-on crash in Palm City sent two people to the hospital with traumatic injuries, according to Martin County Fire Rescue officials.
The crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. May 28 on Southwest Martin Highway and Southwest Long Drive, according to officials. It involved multiple vehicles.
One person was flown to the hospital, and another person was taken by ground, according to officials. Both had sustained traumatic injuries.
The roadways were closed after the crash. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
