No, it wasn’t the reveal of his wife, something many have been wondering about for over a year.
But it was a reveal that had the internet talking just as much after he posted multiple photos of a reunion with his parents and older brother, family members with whom he had been estranged from for years.
Rodgers keeps much of his personal life private these days, though the estrangement with his family has been public for over a decade. But he has now made the reconciliation public to his 2.2 million followers.
What Rodgers hasn’t made public, though, and likely won’t, is the identity of his wife. Since the two wed in spring 2025, the former Green Bay Packers quarterback has revealed little about the mystery woman outside of her name and mostly that she doesn’t want to be in the public eye. But he also has said how amazing it is to have a person who “unconditionally loves you behind the scenes.”
As Rodgers enters what he says is his last NFL season in 2026, interest around his wife will naturally grow again. Who is she?

Aaron Rodgers’ wife’s name is Brittani, the quarterback has said.
Rodgers first brought up that he had a new girlfriend during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” in December 2024 and then, months later in April 2025, he indicated that he was “in a serious relationship.”
But the woman’s identity hasn’t been revealed and he hasn’t posted any pictures of the two together.
And that’s by design.
Rodgers has said repeatedly that his wife wants to live a private life. He put those on notice who want to know more about his wife and invade his privacy to do so.
“I’m with somebody who’s private, who doesn’t want to be in the public eye, didn’t sign up to be a celebrity, doesn’t want to be part of it,” Rodgers said during another appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” June 24, 2025. “And because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private and now I’m somehow weird and now the paparazzi is stalking me on the beach trying to get a picture of her, stalking me in the workout. What is the entitlement to information that where we’re living in society these days?”
Who is Aaron Rodgers married to?
Rodgers did reveal a little more about his wife earlier this year during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” in March 2026.
The four-time NFL MVP said he and his wife met in 2017.
“I knew that there was something crazy-special about this and I wanted to be with her,” he said. “And she would make funny comments like ‘I would never live in Green Bay’ and ‘I don’t want to be a player’s wife.’ She’s not a public person. And then she moved back across the pond.”
Rodgers was in his 12th season with the Packers in 2017. He played six more years in Green Bay before being traded to the New York Jets in 2023.
Throughout his NFL career, Rodgers’ previous relationships had been all over the internet, entertainment magazines and social media.
He was in high-profile relationships with the likes of actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley as well as professional race car driver Danica Patrick.

“I got myself into, you know, crazytown. And I was with individuals who called paparazzi, who talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram social media posts.”
In recent years, Patrick and Woodley have opened up about their relationship with Rodgers as well in interviews.
Last year, Patrick said in a podcast that her relationship with Rodgers was “emotionally abusive” and that it wore her “down to nothing.” In a magazine interview in 2024, Woodley said her relationship with Rodgers “was not right. But it was beautiful.” A week after reports surfaced that the two were dating in early 2021, Rodgers revealed the two were actually engaged in the most public way when he won his fourth NFL MVP during a virtual NFL Honors ceremony in February 2021. Their relationship ended a year later.

Is Aaron Rodgers married?
Yes, Aaron Rodgers is married. He tied the knot in the first half of 2025.
Speculation around his marital status surfaced when he arrived to the Kentucky Derby in May 2025 wearing what appeared to be a wedding band and again when he signed his first contract with the Steelers not long thereafter.
Rodgers kept his personal life so private that his close friends on that trip to Churchill Downs didn’t even know if Rodgers was married, as former teammate and buddy AJ Hawk noted during “The Pat McAfee Show” in the days after that Derby appearance.
But Rodgers confirmed that he was married when he reported to minicamp in Pittsburgh in June 2025.
“Been a couple of months,” Rodgers said after telling reporters he was, in fact, wearing a wedding ring.
In an interview with NFL Network later in June 2025, Rodgers expressed how happy he was being married.
“I got the most incredible wife. I just really love her, and I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end,” Rodgers said to NFL Network host Kyle Brandt.
“When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. To have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling in the world.”

When and where Rodgers was married remains unknown.
There are no published photos of his wedding.
According to a Daily Mail report last year, Rodgers’ younger brother, Jordan didn’t attend the wedding. Rodgers also didn’t attend Jordan’s wedding with wife, JoJo, whom he met on “The Bachelorette.” Part of his estrangement with his family stemmed from actions of the family during Jordan’s appearance on the “The Bachelorette” in 2016.
“Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding and don’t even know anything really about Brittani,” the Daily Mail reported. “What they’ve heard is secondhand from his parents.”
Jordan was absent from Rodgers’ reunion photos with his family.
Rodgers has previously commented about not selling wedding photos to magazines or posting relationship photos with his wife on his social media.
“(If) you want to do that, that’s fine, that’s your prerogative, I don’t care,” Rodgers said. “That’s just not what I want to do. And I’m with somebody who wants to be private. If and when she wants to be out and there’s a picture, she’ll choose that. And she deserves the right to that.”

No, Rodgers hasn’t retired.
While he has hinted at retirement over the last several years, Rodgers is back for another year. But he has said that the 2026 season “is it” for him on his Hall of Fame career.
And when he does retire, don’t expect to see him in the broadcast booth or coaching.
Rodgers has said often that he wants to live a private life after he retires and go off the grid.
And he’s ready to, especially after he says stalkers are trying to get close to his wife. That has led to him moving from his Malibu, California, beach house, he said this year.
“The obsession is f—— bizarre. That’s the only way to put it,” he said. “The obsession is really bizarre. … We’re not living at the beach anymore. Part of it is I have legitimate stalkers and I don’t say that lightly or flippantly. I’ve been getting stalked at my house for about a year and a half, when I was living there. Not just that but stalked at the coffee shop I would frequent, the gym that I would go to, which was really bizarre. Still is.
“And then the paparazzi was stalking me for a long time, flying drones over my house, and I’ve learned has had a bounty on getting a picture of my wife, which I think is very bizarre as well.
“I understand the attention that comes with somebody who has accomplished what I’ve accomplished. So in no way am I making this a ‘woe is me.’ But when it comes to your personal safety and, now it’s not just me. It’s me and her. It’s really f—– bizarre.”
Is Aaron Rodgers playing this year?
Yes, Aaron Rodgers is returning to play for a 22nd season. It’ll be Rodgers’ second with the Steelers.
Upon his return to the Steelers in May, Rodgers said his wife was also part of his conversations with his future.
“And you know, had a lot of conversations with my wife about it, after the (NFL) draft came to the conclusion that I wanted to play. I wanted to come back,” Rodgers said.
He played 18 years with the Packers, 15 as the starter, winning a Super Bowl after the 2010 season and four NFL league MVPs.

He captioned in the post, “Another bonding week” and used the hashtag “fam.” Rodgers had a team bonding trip out West earlier in July.
The family reunion post generated an outpouring of support, including from many of his former Packers teammates such as David Bakhtiari, Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Jimmy Graham.
