TJ Watt is coming to Mayfair Mall's Abercrombie & Fitch store. Here's why.

It may be prom season, but it’s about to be a homecoming of sorts for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt.

The Pewaukee native will be at Mayfair Mall’s Abercrombie & Fitch in Wauwatosa on May 16 for a “TJ Watt Meet and Greet Sweepstakes.”

“We’re headed back to my hometown in Wisconsin to celebrate the launch of my YPB co-designed collection with Abercrombie,” TJ shared on Instagram over the weekend. YPB (Your Personal Best) is A&F’s activewear brand.

Just ahead of last NFL season, A&F announced that it teamed up with TJ and his wife, Dani, a former professional soccer player. TJ and Dani, also a Waukesha County native, were co-designing a collection for YPB, according to an August news release from the company. It was YPB’s first collab.

The collection has been rolling out with three seasonal drops: Fall 2025, spring 2026 and summer 2026.

We’ll get into the specifics of the upcoming sweepstakes below, but basically, the first 240 eligible Milwaukee County residents at least 18 years old that enter at Mayfair’s Abercrombie on May 16 will receive a brief meet-and-greet that evening with TJ. Through random selection, 10 of those winners will get a YPB football autographed by TJ. That’s according to the contest’s official rules, posted on Abercrombie’s website.

Here’s how to enter the meet-and-greet sweepstakes, more on TJ’s and Dani’s YPB partnership, and what to know about the couple:

According to the sweepstakes’ terms and conditions:

Who is eligible? The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Milwaukee County who are at least 18 years old at their time of entry. Proof of residency and age may be required. There’s a one entry limit per person. Info on those excluded from eligibility can be found here.

Here’s how to enter the sweepstakes. Those who wish to enter can visit Mayfair’s Abercrombie store from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT May 16 and either:

Who will win the sweepstakes? The first 240 eligible entries received will be the winners. Each potential winner will be notified upon completion of their entry on whether or not they are a winner. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

What do the sweepstakes’ winners receive? The 240 winners will receive a 20 to 30-second opportunity to meet TJ at Mayfair’s Abercrombie store between 6 and 8 p.m. CT May 16. A random selection of 10 of those winners will get a TJ-autographed YPB football.

Who are TJ and Dani Watt?

As high school athletes, TJ (Pewaukee) and Dani (Waukesha West) became household names in Waukesha County. They began dating at the University of Wisconsin while finding success in their respective sports, with TJ in football and Dani in soccer. Both became All-Americans at UW.

TJ and Dani married in a picturesque wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in July 2022. In March 2025, they announced the birth of their first child together, daughter Blakely Marie.

TJ – who was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft – signed a three-year extension during the 2025 offseason worth $123 million. That momentarily made him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Dani retired from pro soccer in 2023.

In December, TJ needed surgery to address a partially collapsed lung, the unexpected result of a dry-needling physical-therapy treatment at the Steelers facility. He returned to practice as a limited participant just two weeks later, CBS News reported. He was upgraded to a full practice participant in early January and returned for the season-on-the-line game against the Baltimore Ravens days later. While the Steelers would win that one, they’d lose to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

TJ’s brothers, JJ and Derek, both retired from the NFL.

TJ and Dani Watt’s partnership with Abercrombie & Fitch’s YPB

TJ and Dani’s partnership with Abercrombie stemmed from their “authentic connection” to the YPB line, per the August news release. Dani introduced TJ to YPB when she added it to his training wardrobe. Needless to say, he was a fan.

“Working with such a great design and marketing team at Abercrombie and being able to do this alongside my wife has been absolutely incredible,” TJ said in the release. “Whether you’re an athlete or not, we wanted to create something for everyone that was versatile enough to take you from a workout to running errands, with a polished, performance-inspired look that works seamlessly on or off the field. Dani and I are proud of what we created and excited for people to experience it.”
