A mix of holiday season events are on deck for the second week in December in the Green Bay area.
There is something for everyone, from the Candy Cane Trail and Glam Band at the Green Bay Gamblers game to a historical look at Christmas at Heritage Hill State Historical Park to the ongoing holiday events.
Here is what’s going on this weekend:
A Heritage Hill Christmas
Experience the state historical park by candlelight with festive music, costumed historic interpreters and an “Old World Santa” as part of A Heritage Hill Christmas. Food and beverages will be available.
The event is from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 12 and 13 at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, 2640 S. Webster Ave., Allouez. Costs are $13 for those 13 and older, $8 for youth ages 6-12 and free for those younger than 5.
Artisan Alley Indoor Market
Check out the Artisan Alley Indoor Market from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Daily Buzz Espresso Bar, 130 E. Walnut St., Green Bay. Vendors will be selling homemade soaps, candles, baked goods, art and jewelry.
Glam Band at Gamblers game
The Green Bay Gamblers take on the Madison Capitols on Dec. 13, which is Family Night, at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon.
The night’s activities include a Candy Cane Trail from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The game also features a free postgame concert by the Glam Band.
Tickets start at $12.
Swing for the Holidays
The Green Bay Jazz Orchestra will perform Swing for the Holidays on Dec. 12 at the Tarlton Theatre, 405-409 W. Walnut St., in downtown Green Bay. Door open at 5 p.m.; showtime is 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 before the show and $20 at the door.
Daddy D Christmas Show
The 19th Christmas show by Daddy D Productions kicks off Dec. 11. The event runs evenings Dec. 11-13 and 17-18 at the Riverside Ballroom, 1560 Main St., Green Bay. (The matinee shows on Dec. 18 and 20 are sold out as are all shows on Dec. 19.)
Doors open at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 for dinner and a show and $35 for the show only.
Run Run Rudolph Fun Run
A 1-mile fun run will take place at 11 a.m. Dec. 13 on the streets of downtown Green Bay. Wear festive holiday gear, and you’ll receive reindeer antlers when you register. Cost is $15. The events benefits the Salvation Army.
The event is open to all ages.
Holiday lights in De Pere
The Holiday Lights Display in De Pere features lights, tree and decorations at Voyageur Park. The event is free.
The walking tour will be 5-9 p.m. Dec. 11 and includes pictures with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, and free hot chocolate.
The drive-thru schedule is 5-9 p.m. Dec. 12-14 and 18-23.
Winter Lego Event
More than 30 tables of winter and holiday Lego builds will be on display from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 13 at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, 1660 East Shore Drive, Green Bay. Cost is $2 per person. Cash only.
Green Bay Card Show
The Green Bay Card Show is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 13 at the KI Convention Center, 333 Main St., Green Bay. Free admission and parking.
