Progress Lakeshore opens registration for spring entrepreneur program

MANITOWOC – Progress Lakeshore has opened applications for its spring 2026 Entrepreneurial Training Program.

The program is a hands‑on business development course presented in partnership with UW‑Green Bay’s Small Business Development Center. It helps new and existing entrepreneurs build strong business foundations through guided instruction, expert insights and individualized consulting, a community announcement said.

The eight‑week session runs March 26-May 21, with classes 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays at Progress Lakeshore’s downtown Manitowoc office, 202 N. Eighth St.

Participants will learn how to do the following:

The program is limited to 15 participants.

Support from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation allows qualified applicants a 75% tuition grant, reducing the $1,000 course fee to $250. An additional $200 scholarship from UnitedOne Credit Union and the Progress Lakeshore Foundation may lower the cost to $50.
