Expect to see a lot of the Green Bay Packers under the primetime lights of Lambeau Field during the 2026 regular season.
For the first time in team history, the Packers are scheduled to play five primetime games at Lambeau Field, including at least one game each in the three major primetime slots on Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night.
The Packers play two home games on Thursday night for the first time in team history and will also participate in the NFL’s first Thanksgiving Eve primetime game on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving.
According to the Packers, the team will play on “Monday Night Football” for the 34th straight year, an NFL record.
Packers primetime games in 2026
While not a primetime game, the Packers will also face the Chicago Bears on the road on Christmas Day in another standalone game. The contest will mark the fifth time the Packers have played on Christmas Day in franchise history, and the first time the Packers and Bears have played on the holiday in Chicago.
The Packers will also be featured three times in the late afternoon slot during FOX’s “America’s Game of the Week”: Week 5 vs. the Bears, Week 7 at the Detroit Lions and Week 9 at the New England Patriots. While not standalone games, “America’s Game of the Week” usually has only one other competing game during the same timeslot — meaning most of the country will get the broadcast of the games locally.
The Packers’ Week 18 showdown with the Lions at Lambeau Field is still TBD. It’s possible the game will be placed into a primetime slot if the contest ends up being a de facto NFC North title game.
