An Oshkosh-based industrial services company is buying a Menasha manufacturing warehouse, while expanding its footprint in the Fox Valley.
The building at 1725 Racine Road, Menasha, was sold to North Valley Precision (NVP) for $1.6 million. That’s according to a deed posted online by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue on May 27.
In business since 2018, NVP is a quality assurance and control service provider, specializing in on-site inspections, data collection, and supply chain quality control for manufacturing customers.
“I’m really excited for this next chapter, especially with the prospect of doubling the size of our company in a rapid amount of time,” said Brandon Erickson, founder and CEO.
In addition to the location on Oshkosh’s north side, the company also operates a business and development office in Appleton.
Erickson said the newly purchased warehouse will immediately begin serving manufacturing customers in the Fox Valley, to handle both pre-shipment and post-shipment quality operations or inspections.
“We’re making sure that everything is properly installed and that certain functional aspects of the vehicles operate correctly,” he said.
The company also had five new employees start work this week, he said, and it is actively hiring for metal finishing and quality control, with up to 50 more hires anticipated by the end of this year.
The manufacturing facility features a 25,629-square-foot single-story space with overhead doors for large vehicles, according to CityFeet, a commercial real estate listing platform.
The sale does not include the property’s machinery and equipment.
Erickson said a metal fabrication company owned the facility in the past, but the deed didn’t list the actual name of the grantor. The public records show a company named “Whatsamatta U, LLC” operating at 710 N. Bluemound Drive in Grand Chute.
