A popular kringle bakery is bringing back some crowd-favorite flavors.
As part of its Homecoming Series, O&H Danish Bakery is bringing back retired customer-favorite kringles for a limited time, the Racine-based company announced Sept. 9.
O&H Danish Bakery’s president Peter Olesen said each of the returning flavors will only be around for a few weeks.
“Throughout O&H’s 76-year history, our creative bakers have invented hundreds of kringle flavors,” he said in a news release. “We love hearing from our customers which limited-edition flavors stuck with them over the years, and now, we are so excited to bring those back through our Homecoming Series.”
The first two kringles featured in the series are part of the “Home Sweet Home” fall collection, available in stores and online now through Sept. 28. They’re the Autumn Orchard Kringle, which features apples and Wisconsin cranberries, and the Chocolate Pecan Kringle, which is both filled and topped with chocolate and pecans.
The Homecoming Series will bring more limited-time returning kringle flavors for upcoming seasonal collections. Later in the fall, the “Home for the Holidays” collection will be introduced and, in early 2026, the “Hygge Home” collection will feature “comforting winter treats that embrace the Danish tradition of ‘hygge’ or cozy living,” according to the news release.
The titles of the spring and summer collections will be announced at a later date. Customers can request flavors to return at www.ohdanishbakery.com/home-sweet-home.
O&H Danish Bakery is headquartered in Racine, and has five locations across Racine, Sturtevant and Oak Creek. It was founded by Danish immigrant Christian Olesen in 1949.
