Greenbush crash with semi leaves one dead

GREENBUSH – One person died after a crash involving a vehicle and a semi on State 23 at Scenic View Drive in the town of Greenbush on Sunday night, June 7.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said a 911 call reported the crash at about 9:53 p.m. A preliminary investigation found that the driver of a Toyota Corolla was traveling south on Scenic View Drive when the vehicle entered the path of an eastbound semi and was struck, causing the semi to overturn.

The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. Three occupants of the semi were taken to local hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The names of those involved were not immediately released pending notification of family members.

Responding agencies included the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Plymouth Police Department, Sheboygan County Highway Department, Orange Cross Ambulance, Kiel Ambulance, Greenbush Fire Department, Plymouth Fire Department, Glenbeulah First Responders and Elkhart Lake First Responders.
