Four shot on Mineral St. in second quadruple shooting in as many weeks

Milwaukee’s second quadruple shooting in as many weeks sent four adults to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

According to Milwaukee police, the shooting took place on the 1000 block of West Mineral Street at approximately 8:45 p.m. on June 17. The victims include two 26-year-olds, a 27-year-old and a 34-year-old. All are expected to survive.

Milwaukee police are investigating the shootings and are seeking unknown suspects.

The last quadruple shooting in Milwaukee, on June 8 downtown, also sent four young adults to the hospital with nonfatal injuries. This furthers the trend of increased gun violence this year, with homicides in mid-June outpacing 2024 figures.
