MANITOWOC – UnitedOne Credit Union has named Angie Kenneke its chief lending officer, promoting a longtime employee with more than 35 years of financial services experience.
Kenneke previously served as UnitedOne’s lending director. She succeeds Amy Sonnemann, who recently became the credit union’s chief executive officer after the retirement of Kim Rooney.
Kenneke joined UnitedOne in 1998. In her new role, she will oversee the credit union’s lending strategy and member lending services.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to help shape the future of lending at UnitedOne while continuing to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team,” Kenneke said.
Kenneke said she has focused throughout her career on helping members reach financial goals, including buying homes, growing businesses and navigating financial challenges.
“In this role, I look forward to expanding our impact, fostering innovation, and ensuring we continue to provide exceptional service and lending solutions that strengthen the financial well-being of our members and communities,” Kenneke said.
Kenneke grew up on a farm in Reedsville and earned an associate degree in supervisory management from Lakeshore Technical College. She lives in Collins with her husband, Tim.
She serves on the board of The Haven of Manitowoc County and has volunteered with St. John-St. James Lutheran Church and School and the Rockland Sunshine 4-H Club.
UnitedOne Credit Union was founded in 1938 and serves people who live or work in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Kewaunee and Door counties. The credit union serves consumers and small and midsize businesses. More information is available at UnitedOne.org.
