A consignment store is making a move to the De Pere.
Three Lil’ Birds Consignment Shoppe, currently at 1845 Velp Ave., in Howard, will move to 1358 Mid Valley Drive, in Lawrence, in the former space of the Antique Mall of Greater Green Bay, which closed in March. According to a May 19 Facebook post, the store’s current building has safety issues beyond management’s control.
Sherry Hayward, an employee at the store, said there’s also been some flooding in the changing rooms. She said the new location is larger and with 300 consigners and 3,500 items, it is more suitable.
“We have 10 days to move out of this location,” Hayward said.
Right now, the store is offering 20% off storewide, 50% off in shoes and 10% on handmade items. Hayward said this is to help alleviate the move.
She said the store will not close except for Memorial Day and hours will continue the same: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
