Two Shorewood schools canceled classes Sept. 3 due to a power outage.
Shorewood Intermediate School and Shorewood High School both have the day off, according to the Shorewood School District’s website. The district’s elementary schools are unaffected.
We Energies’ outage map showed 42 customers in Shorewood lost power at 7:21 a.m. Power was restored to those customers by around 11 a.m., said Amy Jahns, a spokesperson for We Energies.
Jahns said in an email that the outages were due to “a cable issue.”
