Rock out at Manitowoc Metalfest
The loudest weekend of the year is back with Manitowoc Metalfest, happening Sept. 12 and 13 at PetSkull Brewing (1015 Buffalo St).
With 24 bands across two days, including national acts like Through the Eyes of the Dead performing their debut album in full, this is one festival metal fans won’t want to miss.
The lineup features heavy hitters like The Convalescence, Micawber, Pathogenic and Toxic Ruin, alongside a powerhouse roster of Wisconsin talent.
Friday and Saturday bring full schedules across both main and side stages, with sets running all afternoon and night. Tickets are available at www.petskullbrewing.com/metalfest.

This 2-mile fundraiser walk supports the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, providing free books to children younger than 5 in Manitowoc County.
Check-in opens at 8 a.m. with the walk kicking off at 9 a.m., featuring a fun storyboard of “The Little Engine that Could” along the way for the littles.
Pre-registration is $32, day-of registration is $40, and children younger than 5 walk free, with Dolly wigs for the first 50 registrants.
