The American Red Cross building at 1809 Fifth St. in Wichita Falls is undergoing renovations.
Liberty-Grace Bland, executive director of the Texas Big Country Chapter, said the renovations “will enhance our ability to serve the community and create a more welcoming space for those we support.”
Bland said renovations should be complete in August.

She said that mission includes supporting local families affected by fires, responding to disasters and assisting military members and their families.
She said blood donations will not be collected at the building but would continue to be collected via mobile blood drives.
Bland said the Red Cross has more than 30 volunteers and staff members in Wichita Falls..
“Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and are an integral part of the Wichita Falls community,” she said.
The Texas Big Country Chapter of the American Red Cross serves 31 counties and operates offices in Wichita Falls, Abilene, San Angelo and Brownwood, Bland said.
