Lubbock police arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a June 13 shooting at a nightclub in Central Lubbock that sent one man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cesar Ledezma was booked Sunday into the Lubbock County Detention Center on multiple charges including possession of a firearm by a felon and discharging a firearm in a municipality.
Police officials said more charges are pending, according to a news release.
Jail records indicate Ledezma, a Mexican national who is also on an immigration hold, was arrested in the 500 block of 53rd Street.
Lubbock police obtained a warrant for his arrest stemming from a June13 investigation into a shooting about 2:10 a.m. at a nightclub in the 5000 block of South Avenue Q.
Responding officers found 43-year-old Antonio Flores with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center, where he still remains, according to police officials.
Information on how Ledezma was identified as a suspect or what motivated the shooting was not immediately available as the investigation is ongoing.
