An Iowa Park man died from an industrial accident Wednesday at United Rentals at 6230 Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls, officials said.
Rick Don Scott, 60, and his coworkers were changing out equipment on the cabin of a skid steer when it fell on his head and severely injured him, police said in a media release.
He was pronounced dead at the Emergency Department at United Regional Health Care System, police said.
A skid steer is a compact piece of heavy equipment used for construction, demolition, landscaping and other activities.
Police said no foul play is expected.
“This was a terrible accident, and we send our prayers to the Scott family during this extremely difficult time,” police said in the media release.
