Texas A&M transfer OL reveals his Top 5 NFL O-line list

This offseason, Texas A&M coach Mike Elko and third-year offensive line coach Adam Cushing had their work cut out for them after seeing four 2025 starting O-linemen selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, while starting center Mark Nabou will serve as the lone returning starter this fall. After landing four SEC starters from the transfer portal, plenty of questions remain, but the Aggies are in solid shape.

Former Alabama tackle Wilkin Formby, who, despite struggling as a pass protector, is already projected to start at right tackle, and based on Elko and Cushing’s heavy pursuit of the SEC veteran, both coaches feel that they’ll be able to unlock the best version of Formby during what could be his final collegiate season.

During the Maroon & White spring game back in late April, Formby, along with transfer offensive linemen Tyree Adams, Coen Echols, and Trovon Baugh, all took equal reps combined with several players from the 2025 signing class, who all looked improved in run blocking, while the pass protection held up for the most part.

Compared to those of us in our early 30s or even older, these young men likely look up to different former or current NFL players, and for offensive linemen, there are plenty of star tackles and guards to look up to. On Wednesday, Wilkin Formby released his “All-time O-line list,” which was provided to the public by TexAgs, with veteran Washington Commanders tackle Laremy Tunsil coming in at No. 1.

As a highly versatile offensive lineman, Wilkin Formby’s list is hard to argue with when considering the top active NFL offensive linemen, and it’s great to see that the Alabama transfer is continuing to study each player listed to get better each day.
