Drivers along the Kell Boulevard in Wichita Falls can expect lane closures for the rest of the summer, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
A TxDOT media release said construction will start Monday on a $3.7 million project to repair both Kell West and Kell East boulevards.
“Work will consist of a full-depth repair of the concrete pavement followed by an overlay of new hot mix pavement. The job also includes new striping and pavement markets as well as sidewalk repairs and some tree trimming,” the release said.
The work will start on Kell East Boulevard at Kemp and continues to Holiday Street, the media release said.
The lane closures will occur across the 2 miles of the project, according to the release.
