All-State Tournament team selections are voted on by the head coaches of teams who reached the UIL state semifinals in their respective classifications.

In their fourth trip to the state tournament in the last five years, the Lady Hawks registered a pair of back-to-back wins over Mineola (4-3, 7-2) to sweep their best-of-three series in the 3A DI state semifinals before falling to Grandview 2-0 in the state title game.

Berrett shined in the circle for Iowa Park, pitching all 25 innings of the Lady Hawks’ playoff games against Mineola and Grandview and recording 33 strikeouts, 16 hits, 11 walks and five earned runs allowed.

Berrett, who also served as the No. 3 hitter in the Lady Hawks’ lineup, went 5-for-12 at the plate with two RBIs, two runs scored, a double, a home run and a walk during the state tournament.

Martinez – Iowa Park’s cleanup hitter – tallied three RBIs, two runs scored and three doubles on 5-for-13 hitting in Iowa Park’s state semifinal series and state title game appearance.

Pike recorded two RBIs, one run scored, a double, a triple and two walks on 3-for-10 hitting, while Barnes accounted for three RBIs, one run scored, a home run and a stolen base offensively on 2-for-11 hitting.
