Expensive is relative, but with that caveat, there is a far less expensive ticket to see a FIFA World Cup game in Texas.
Plenty of face-value tickets, through FIFA, are still available to see Cabo Verde take on Saudi Arabia on June 26 at NRG Stadium in Houston. The cheapest tickets, and as of Thursday night, April 9, there were a number left, are for $140.
Fans won’t even have to identify Cabo Verde on a map (it’s an island nation off the west coast of Africa) or know that it recently changed its name from Cape Verde, which many still call it.
In terms of face-value tickets to games in Texas, those are the only tickets on the FIFA last-minute sales page priced under $500.
Cheap FIFA World Cup ticket Houston
Face value tickets through FIFA starting at $140 are available for the June 26 match between Cabo Verde and Saudi Arabia at NRG Stadium in Houston. The “last-minute sales” link will send participants to a waiting line with a countdown clock.
Once the clock expires, buyers will have 5 minutes to access the list of games where tickets are still available.
