The warmer weather is signaling that spring is on the horizon, which means students will soon get a well-deserved break from the classroom.
As parents plan for children to stay at home or search for a spring break program to keep kids busy, it’s important to remember that dates vary by district.
Here’s when El Paso-area school districts go on spring break.
El Paso Independent School District
El Paso ISD has intersession from March 9-13 (only for students who need it; all other students will have the week off), followed by spring break from March 16-20.
Socorro Independent School District
Socorro ISD has intersession from March 9-13 (only students who need intersession, all other students will have the week off), followed by spring break from March 16-20.
Ysleta Independent School District
Ysleta ISD begins its spring intersession from March 2-6 (only students who need intersession, all other students will have the week off), followed by spring break from March 9-13.
Canutillo Independent School District
Canutillo ISD has intersession from March 9-13 (only students who need intersession, all other students will have the week off), followed by spring break from March 16-20.
Anthony Independent School District
Anthony ISD has intercession from March 3-6 (only students who need intersession, all other students will have the week off) followed by spring break from March 9-13.
Gadsden Independent School District
Gadsden ISD has spring break from March 16-20.
Fabens Independent School District
Fabens ISD has spring break from March 13-20
La Fe Preparatory
La Fe Preparatory has intercession from March 9-13 (only students who need intersession, all other students will have the week off) followed by spring break from March 16-20.
Harmony
Harmony has spring break from March 9-13.
