Ahead of the highly-anticipated George Strait concerts this weekend, Texas Tech University will host an early access merchandise sale.
From 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, people can go to the green space area west of Jones AT&T Stadium for the sale. It is available to everyone, regardless of ticket status, according to a university release.

Showtimes for Strait’s concerts are listed on his social media’s events page as 6 p.m. April 24 and 7 p.m. April 25.
Where will George Strait perform in Lubbock?
The concert was initially going to be a one-day performance in April 2026 at Jones AT&T Stadium, 2526 Mac Davis Lane, home of Texas Tech’s Red Raider football team.
Who will perform with George Strait in Lubbock?
The April 24 show will have Zach Top and Dylan Gossett. April 25 will have Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook.
Zach Top, from Sunnyside, Washington, is the 2025 ACM New Male Artist of the Year. Top’s latest album is “Ain’t In It For My Health,” which released in Aug. 29, 2025. Dylan Gossett is an Austin-born musician and an alumnus of Texas A&M University. Gossett’s latest album, “Westward” released in July 2025. Hudson Westbrook is from Stephenville, Texas and a relatively new star to the country music scene, first entering it in 2024. Westbrook has caught the eyes, and ears, of Billboard as a December Country Rookie of the Month.
Miranda Lambert has been a country music legend, actress, author, restauranteur, and advocate since 2001. From Longview, Texas, Lambert is the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history.

Parking for George Strait concert in Lubbock
Concert-goers are encouraged to buy parking in advance and arrive early. The lots will open at 2:30 p.m. both days, and the stadium will open 90 minutes before the show begins. Campus parking for the C-1 Commuter West lot must be pre-purchased at texastech.evenue.net/list/CP and will not be sold in-person, according to a news release from Texas Tech.
All parking east of Jones AT&T Stadium is currently closed through April 27 for the production team.
