Last offseason, Dominguez was an experienced international addition to Bucky McMillan’s first team at Texas A&M. According to his bio on the Aggies’ roster, Dominguez has played in over 150 professional games and was the 2019 FIBA World Championship MVP.

Dominguez is from Puerto Real, Spain and played for Club Baloncesto Estudiantes in Madrid from 2020-2023. He also had one-year stints at Amics del Bàsquet Castelló and Bilbao Basket of the professional league Liga ACB. He will turn 24 in January.

The 6-foot-6, 213-pound guard appeared in 34 games last season for Texas A&M and made 27 starts to help lead the Aggies to a No. 10 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

He averaged 10.2 points per game and shot 40% from 3-point range (5th in the SEC). Of his 253 field goal attempts last season, 84.9% were from beyond the arc (215).

He also boasted the No. 10 turnover rate in the country, according to KenPom. Dominguez averaged 8 points per game in SEC play.

After finding a big man in LSU’s Mike Nwoko, Xavier has now added to its backcourt with its second high-major transfer in just three days.
