We have day one Marion County fair photos – are you in any of them? Take a look

The Marion County Fair opened for the 175th year Monday, June 30.

This year’s fair will feature plenty of new and classic exhibits and games for the entire family.

The fair runs through Saturday, with a special Fourth of July fireworks show July 4.

All week visitors can expect classic fair food, animal shows, special events and more.

Youth of all ages participated in a variety of contests and shows, including exhibiting animals like cows, goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits and birds.

Wednesday’s Schedule

Wednesday is kid’s day 10 a.m.-noon.

8 a.m. – Sr. Fair Board Office opens and Jr. Fair Board office opens

9 a.m. – Horse Fun classes, horse arena

9 a.m. – Rabbit breeding show, Evers Arena, northy

9 a.m. – Dairy breeding show followed by dairy feeder classes, Evers Arena, south

10 a.m. Kids Day until noon

Noon – Rides open

Noon – Buckeye Valley Pedal Tractor Pull Registration

1 p.m. – Buckeye Valley Pedal Tractor Pull

3 p.m. – Breeding sheep show, Evers Arena, south

2-4 p.m. – Dunk tank

6 p.m. – Marke lamb show, Evers Arena, south

7 p.m. – NTPA Tractor Pull
