In her Team USA debut during the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile, on Saturday, Iowa women’s basketball star forward Hannah Stuelke had a modest performance in the dominant 108-47 victory over Chile.
In the opening game of the tournament for Team USA (1-0), Stuelke scored seven points on 2-for-3 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line. The senior Hawkeyes forward collected two rebounds and two steals in her first national team game.
Due to the lopsided score, Stuelke only played 16:31 as every player received ample minutes.
Leading the team in scoring on Saturday was Oklahoma center Raegan Beers, who posted 22 points in 18:05 of playing time.
Stuelke and Team USA will play their second game of the tournament Sunday at 7:10 p.m. CT against Colombia (0-1). The game can be streamed on Courtside 1891 through MAX.
