This report has been updated with additional information.
A boil water advisory that was issued in Munroe Falls on Oct. 21 following a water main break has been lifted, according to the Munroe Falls mayor’s office.
“Water is safe to use and consume for all residents and businesses,” the city’s press release stated.
The advisory was originally issued for an area between 21 N. Main St. and 59 N. Main St. It was not a citywide alert and several Main Street businesses were excluded.
Traffic on state Route 91 north of the railroad crossing is open for traffic in both directions through Sunday, Oct. 26, the city stated.
Road construction and waterline work will resume on Monday, Oct. 27, for another waterline repair.
“It has not been determined if this construction will allow for through traffic or if another detour will be necessary,” according to the press release.
Traffic was down to one lane earlier in the week and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
