Hiram Township has a new trustee.
Dan Ellenberger took the oath of office April 21 at a township meeting. He succeeds Debra Blake, who recently resigned.
Portage County Municipal Court Judge Melissa Roubic issued Ellenberger’s oath of office.
Ellenberger will remain in office through the end of 2027, when he will need to run for office if he wishes to keep the post.
