US Marshals arrest New Mexico crime suspect in West El Paso

The U.S. Marshal’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested a New Mexico crime suspect during the execution of an arrest warrant in a West El Paso neighborhood.

The person wanted on various criminal warrants in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon, April 21, in the 6600 block of Isla Del Rey Drive, Senior Inspector Mike Mijares, a U.S. Marshals Service spokesman, said in an email to the El Paso Times.

Isla Del Rey Drive in near the intersection of Ojo de Agua and Loma de Cristo drives.

The identity of the person arrested and further details were was not immediately disclosed because an investigation continues, Mijares said.
