A viral coffee spot dropped, yes, literally dropped, a new location in the Greater Cincinnati area.
7 Brew, a drive-thru coffee brand that has gone viral for its unique and customizable drink menu, revealed a new stand in Florence with much fanfare on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Videos from the Arkansas-based company show a crane dropping a large portion of the stand onto its lot at 7303 Turfway Road. While more construction will occur, a good chunk of the stand looks complete.
The stand will open next year, 7 Brew said in a release.
The new Florence location is the sixth in Greater Cincinnati. 7 Brew opened its first Northern Kentucky location in Newport earlier this year, followed by another Florence location. The company also has locations in Anderson Township and Symmes Township. A location in West Chester is “coming soon,” according to the company’s website.
What is 7 Brew? How does it work?
7 Brew was “born from the desire to change drive-thru coffee into a fun, mind-blowing experience,” per the company’s website. The coffee shop runs similarly to the Chick-fil-A drive-thru, with employees standing outside taking guests’ orders in person. However, there are no speaker boxes or big displays outside.
Unlike coffee shops like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts, 7 Brew is a small coffee “stand” with two drive-thru windows. There is no indoor seating, and it doesn’t have a food menu. Instead, the shop is focused on setting itself apart through quick service and a range of custom hand-crafted drinks.
What can you get at 7 Brew?
7 Brew is a drive-thru-only beverage joint specializing in coffee, tea, Italian sodas, smoothies, milkshakes, lemonades, energy drinks and hot chocolate.
It does not serve food except for muffin tops, which are the company’s version of a muffin.
The chain has gone viral for its more than 20,000 drink combinations, from its original “Blondie,” a caramel and vanilla beverage, to seasonal flavors such as cinnamon roll and German chocolate.
7 Brew customers create their drinks by choosing a base, such as coffee, 7 Energy, smoothie or tea, and then customizing their order by adding various syrups, sauces and sweetness levels.
