It seems like all we’ve gotten are sports letdowns from the outset of the 21st century. Reds. Bengals. Bearcats. Musketeers. They’ve all inflicted serious pain on Cincinnati sports fans since the turn of the century, starting just a few months into the year 2000 with Kenyon Martin’s broken leg and the fallout ruining UC’s legitimate chance of winning its first national championship since 1962.
