One person died in an early morning shooting July 23 in South Linden.
A Columbus police dispatcher said the shooting was reported just before 3:30 a.m. in an alley near Hamilton Avenue and Clinton Street.
Medics pronounced one person dead there at 3:43 a.m.
The dispatcher said no suspects are in custody. No information about what led up to the shooting was available.
Police have not identified the person who died. The shooting is under investigation.
