Between Backlash and Saturday Night’s Main Event, it can feel like WWE superstars are on a bigger stage every weekend. This weekend, though, they will be traveling overseas for Clash in Italy.
Take a look at who I think will win during WWE’s Clash in Italy.
Undisputed Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: Gunther bores me. Whether he is in the ring or on the mic, this man is a snooze fest, yet for some reason, WWE continues to put him on my TV week in and week out. Your main champion, or QB1 as Rhodes has been saying, can’t be boring.
Predicted Winner: Cody Rhodes
Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill
If I were a betting woman, I would say that this match will 100% include an interference of some kind. Jade has backup with Michin and B-Fab, but after a loss at SNME, I am not sure if Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will be there for Rhea. Even with others getting involved, I think this match between the two powerhouse women will be entertaining to watch.
Predicted Winner: Jade Cargill
Tribal Combat: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
This match is for a championship, but more importantly, it is to see which member of the family will lead the rest and be the head of the table. Roman has won his last two Tribal Combat matches, and, as much as I enjoy Fatu, I think he will win this one too.
The promos and fights leading up to this match have been personal, so I am hoping to see a good fight during Clash in Italy and I won’t be upset if we see some other Samoans brought in for an entrance or interference.
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca
As I watched John Cena retire in December 2025, I was introduced to many new athletes, including Sol Ruca, who was impressive. Since then, I have been less than impressed with her skills on the mic, especially when she is up against someone like Lynch, who gets the crowd going every time she speaks.
This match will surely highlight Ruca and further the Becky Lynch vs. the crooked referee storyline.
Predicted Winner: Becky Lynch
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
I wasn’t sad when Lesnar retired at WrestleMania. I didn’t miss him at all. So, when he returned to take out Oba, I was disappointed. What I would like to see is a big man match with both athletes showing their strength that ends with Oba winning again. What I think I will see is several F5s in the span of three minutes with a guy who should have left getting his hand raised at the end.
Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar
Clash in Italy takes place on May 31, 2026, at Inalpi Arena in Italy. Those in the U.S. can watch the show on the ESPN app starting at 2 p.m. ET.
