ALLIANCE ‒ The Main Street Alliance Farmers Market has been canceled for July 18 because of the continuing smoke from Canadian wildfires.
In a Facebook post, Main Street Alliance officials cited smoke-related air quality concerns while announcing the cancellation of the market at East Main and Mechanic streets in downtown Alliance.
“While we’re disappointed that we won’t get to see everyone in the morning, we believe this is the best decision to help protect everyone from the unhealthy air conditions,” officials said.
