Recap: The Bats scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to hand the Clippers their eighth loss in nine games. Hector Rodriguez singled in Davis Wendzel to tie the game, and Ryan Vilade singled in P.J. Higgins and Blake Dunn for the go-ahead runs. For Columbus, Johnathan Rodriguez and Kahlil Watson each went 3 for 5 and Dayan Frias was 2 for 4 with a home run. Clippers starter John Means allowed one run on two hits in four innings. He struck out four and walked two.
