Interstate 70 eastbound reopened during the May 13 morning commute after a crash briefly shut down all lanes near Hilliard Rome Road on Columbus’ Far West Side.
According to OHGO, the crash was reported around 6 a.m. on I-70 East beyond Hilliard Rome Road. At one point, all eastbound lanes were closed while emergency crews responded to the scene.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
By around 7 a.m., dispatchers confirmed the roadway had reopened to traffic.
