Former Bengals WR Jermaine Burton gets another chance in the NFL

Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jemaine Burton will get another chance at the NFL level in the wake of the NFL draft.

According to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, Burton will participate in rookie minicamp with the Buffalo Bills.

Still just 24 years old, Burton was a third-round pick by the Bengals in 2024 who struggled to shake past the pre-draft character concerns during his time in Cincinnati.

After a report of distrust between Burton and the Bengals in the wake of multiple issues, the Bengals cut him last December and he went unclaimed on waivers.

There was never any question about Burton’s immense on-field upside, but his tenure with the Bengals always meant a second chance would come on a tryout or practice squad basis.

As of right now, Burton will get that chance with another contender in the AFC.
