Here’s five things going on around Holmes and Wayne counties.
1. Wacky Quacky Duck Derby
When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17
Where: James L. Crissey Memorial Pool, 430 W. Jackson St., Millersburg
What: The sixth annual Wacky, Quacky Duck Derby. This year it will be a quacktastic in-person community event. Ducks are up for adoption, and can be adopted right before the race, too. First place prize is $500, second place $200 and third place wins $100. Fourth through sixth place finishers will receive consolation prizes. The more ducks sold, the greater the chance of higher payouts. Proceeds to benefit United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties and our partner organizations.

2. Education Day
When: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17
Where: Wooster Community Hospital Auditorium, 1761 Beall Ave., Wooster
What: Learn about stroke prevention and leaving a legacy. Lunch will be provided. Registration required. Call 330-451-9063 to RSVP to Tsasos Tsikles. Sponsors are Wooster Community Hospital, Wayne Senior Service Network, Sprenger, Wayne County Public Library and Crossroads Hospice and Pallative Care.

3. Live music at Blue Macaroon Theater
When: 7 p.m. Friday, June 20
Where: Blue Macaroon Theater, 84 1/2 N. Portage St., Doylestown
What: Towers, with special guests Wylie Green and the Transients, will perform. Towers is a Northeast Ohio band driven by lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Eric Stucki, and brought to life by Jonah Stillion on drums, Derek Taylor on bass, and Brandon Schmidt on keys, guitar and backing vocals. Tickets are available at tickettailor.com.

4. Fundraising Rummage Sale
When: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, June 20, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 21
Where: Truth Baptist Church, 12457 N. Elyria Road, West Salem
What: A fundraiser for the Truth Baptist Church missions trip to Thailand.
Cost: Prices vary
5. Motorcycle Stunt Riding Show
When: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 21
Where: Church of the Cross, 480 Fry Road, Wooster
What: Motorcycle stunt show, by Event by Pat Murica Lacey and Jeremy Windom, featuring @330stunters. The first stunt show is at 12:30 p.m., second at 2:30 and the third at 5:30 p.m., with a drift demo at 6 p.m. Times are subject to change. Car drift demo is by @championpowersports and @bigindiandriftpit A judged car/truck/motorcycle show will be happening all day. Bring a ride and show it off. The day includes a 50/50 drawing, food vendor, craft vendors and kids games
Cost: $10 suggested donation per car load
