Duke Energy reports about 2,000 customers were experiencing power outages after 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The company’s outage map showed outages were fairly spread out through the region July 28, with Clermont and Hamilton County seeing the most. Clusters of outages existed near Blue Ash, Goshen and Middletown.
As severe storms moved through late Monday, the number of customers without power peaked at above 19,000, according to the outage history on the Duke website. Outages were highest between 7 to 10 p.m. and dropped below 14,000 after 11 p.m.
The number of customers affected grew again early Tuesday, peaking at 12,000 in the 4 a.m. hour before appearing to drop again. About 4,000 outages were reported after 5 a.m.
