Cuyahoga Falls plans to reopen its Quirk Cultural Center on Monday, Feb. 9.
The city was forced to close the center that is home to a variety of programs and activities on Feb. 4 after a problem was discovered with the natural gas line that services the building.
Falls spokesperson Carrie Snyder said the city’s natural gas supplier Enbridge made the necessary repairs on Feb. 6.
Heat has been restored to the building where portable electric heaters had been placed to ensure the pipes did not freeze.
The center will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. Feb. 9.
