COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the annual Coshoctonian Award through June 12.
The award recognizes and honors an individual’s long-term contribution to the well-being and economic climate of Coshocton County.
All nominees must be residents of Coshocton County. Re-nomination of potential candidates from previous years is appropriate and encouraged with an updated outline of their accomplishments. A committee consisting of chamber representatives, city and county officials and a previous award winner will select this year’s recipient.
There are no nomination forms. Nominators can send a letter highlighting a person’s accomplishments to Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce, 106 S. Fourth St., Coshocton.
The winner will be announced at the annual chamber dinner on Sept. 11. Other awards to be presented include Employee of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Young Leader of the Year and the Making a Difference award.
History of the award
The Coshoctonian Award was first presented in 1983 to Edward E. Montgomery and the 2025 winner was Marion Sutton, former owner of Jones Metal in West Lafayette.
