Brock Bolden has resigned from his positions of assistant principal and head football coach of Coshocton City School, according to a release from Superintendent Matt Nicholas.
The release stated the district is moving forward with plans to fill these roles and will share more information as it becomes available. A reason for Bolden’s resignation was not given.
The school board approved Bolden as the school’s new head coach at its monthly meeting on Jan. 29.
Bolden is a 2013 graduate of Coshocton High School and was a quarterback under former coach Jim Woodrum, helping the 2011 team reach a regional final in Division IV, according to a previous Tribune story. He was a freshman on a state semifinal squad in 2009 and served as a catcher under Scott Loomis.
Before accepting the positions at Coshocton, Bolden was the assistant middle school principal and athletic director at Olentangy Orange.
