Which Cincinnati Reds deserve MLB All-Star bids? We asked, they dished

NEW YORK – Fans get to vote. Players across the league get a say. Then MLB officials have some input.

But if it were up to just Cincinnati Reds players, who would they say should go to Philadelphia next month to represent their team and city in the All-Star Game?

Specifically, who are their top three deserving candidates?

We wanted to know. So we asked nine of them over the weekend for their votes.

Two didn’t have strong enough thoughts on it to participate or didn’t want to. Two more couldn’t stop at three deserving candidates.

The Reds have landed more than the mandatory single All-Star selection each of the past two seasons and 13 of the last 15.
